Our Mission...
Eating for Peace explores how what we eat is a foundational component for peace. Eating for Peace offers opportunities to experience how food can assist us spiritually and physically, thereby enabling us to extend ourselves peacefully to others.

...And Goals
To encourage our culture to deepen its sense of gratitude for food, acknowledging a Creator, on whom we are dependent for
food.
To offer educational opportunities for understanding the energy of food, the importance of food choices, and how these affect us as individuals and as a society.
To provide instruction in cooking skills that contribute to inner peace.
To rekindle society’s cultural roots of cooking together as family and eating together in the home, the foundation of society, where peace is born.
To examine with individuals, and the public at large, the value of daily, home cooked food, and to cooperate with others to make it accessible to as many as possible.
To sponsor days of reflection to examine the relationship of food and spirituality, and the importance of food in the continuing evolution of mankind as a spiritual being, who is made in the image of a loving, creative God.
To engage in other activities related to educating the public about food, it’s effects on individual and societal peace, and what we can do by our food choices to bring a deeper experience of peace to ourselves and our world.
